Everest base camp trek offers tremendous beauty of mountains of Mahalangur Himal at 5364m. It is 14 days trekking that begins from Lukla and continues to Phakding, Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche and Gorekshep. We should walk around 6,7 hours every day during the trek. After reaching EBC we can continue the trek to Gokyo Cho La pass as well. There will be two days for acclimatization in Namche and Dingboche. We will do day hiking during the acclimatization period.

Autumn and spring are the best seasons for Everest base camp trek. The months of March, April, May, September, October and November are the best months to explore the amazing view of mountains and the entire landscape.
How to reach Everest base camp?
It takes eight days to reach Everest base camp by walking from Lukla. The entire distance to cover Lukla to Everest base camp is 65 Km long on which we should walk minimum 10 km long each day. The tiredness will overcome by amazing view of mountains and hospitality of Sherpa’s. After reaching Everest base camp we will return Lukla within three days. Walking downhill will be faster as compared to climbing uphills.
Who can do the Everest base camp trek?
Healthy people of any age can do the Everest base camp trek, but the necessity is one should be well prepared for three months before the trek. We can do physical exercises such as walking, running, squats, planks, cycling, swimming based on your preparation time. We should walk around two hours everyday for three months of trekking. Along with, we can practice running, cycling to make your muscles strong and prevent twisting of muscles.
